I Refuse

Drawing influences from bands such as Helmet, Quicksand and Nirvana, I Refuse gives new life to a long-dormant style of hardcore. I Refuse simply isn't trying to emulate the sound but "Speaks Fork-Tongued" is adding a new progressive chapter to the classics for the genre. Lyrically this album concentrates on self-realization and politics. Mid-tempo and very passionate "Speaks Fork-Tongued" is driven by melodic but groovy guitar, thick heavy bass and drums that are heavy as they are compelling.

With the celebration of the release of Speaks Fork-Tongued, saw I Refuse on a North American tour, and a debut music video for their song Blood Telegrams! Unfortunately I Refuse parted ways.
